I saw my first movie in a movie theatre! We saw Cars with Kylie and her family. It was awesome! Dad and I have been going to a class together at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It's cool learning about baby animals.

I really love riding the carousel at the zoo. My mom has been taking us in the double stroller while she runs. We look for mailboxes and construction vehicles.

We went to a trip to NJ and stayed with Uncle Fran and Aunt Kimmie. We got the flu while we were there. :( We went to a dinosaur museum!

My Lolo, Lola, Uncle Fran and Aunt Kimmie came from New Jersey for my birthday. Auntie Berni and Uncle Andy came from Denver. It was a lot of fun!

Dada has been travelling a lot this month, so we have been staying some nights at Grandma & Grandpa's house. It's fun to play there and help sweep and cook.

My mom is on bedrest. I might be a big brother sooner than expected. Lots of friends and family are coming over to play with me while mom rests.

I'm sick :( I have something called RSV and got broncholitis and 2 ear infections from it. The doctor gave us a little machine with a fish mask on it and some steam stuff comes out for me to help me breathe. I should be well in a week or so.

I'm going to be a big brother! My mom is going to have a baby, and the baby should join our family in May 2004. We don't know his name yet, so they just call him Z4 (I was Z3).

Hi, I'm Zander. Before I was born, my mom and dad weren't sure what they wanted to name me, so but they knew that my name would start with the letter 'Z'. So, they called me 'Z-man'. I could have been Zane, Zayden or Zachary. But they liked Zander the best.

My full name is Zander Alan Carpio Scott. My dad is Douglas Alan Scott. My mom is Maria Zenaida Carpio Scott, but everyone calls her Maida. My two middle names are from their middle names. Alan is my dad's middle name. Carpio is my mom's maiden name, and it's a Filipino tradition to have my mom's maiden name as one of my middle names.

Sometimes my mom and dad still call me 'Z-man'. They also call me 'the Boy', 'Boo-gie', and 'my special little guy'.

They also call me their 'miracle baby.' You can read all about when my mom was pregnant with me.

I have a new favorite TV show called Little Einsteins. I love to sing the theme song and help Rocket build up speed and blast off. "We're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship..." Like Quincy, I can play any instrument, drums, harmonica, flute (recorder).

I love to be a big helper and do things by myself. I can sweep, dig, rake leaves and shovel snow.

We went to California this month and I got to watch TV shows using my own headset on the plane. That was pretty cool. My cousin Gavin is GREAT! I love playing with him.

I just love learning new songs. When I wash my hands, I sing the ABC song and then "rinse." I have a new favorite game on the computer: Clifford!

I love my GeoTrax train set! It's got a mountain and a tunnel and a remote control. I love it! Grandpa got a train table for me to play with at his house too. I can play for a long time! I can sing a lot of songs - Itsy Bitsy Spider, You Are My Sunshine, Spiderman and more.

I love to "work" at my computer. I like my Mickey Mouse Toddler, the bear game (Jumpstart Toddler) and the rabbit game (Reader Rabbit). I can start up my computer and double-click to start my games.

It's fun to open Christmas presents. I helped Zevan open all of his gifts. I have really cool frog boots that I love to wear. My new favorite TV show is Prehistoric Planet.

I like to sit in Grandpa's chair to watch tv. It's fun to play in grandma and grandpa's yard with the big (bocce) balls and little (croquet) balls. I love my green dinosaur backpack!

I have been learning the names of different kinds of dinosaurs! I know Diplodocus, T Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Spinosaurus.

We have been going to the library for Toddler Time and to play on the computer there. I like to check out videos about animals and dinosaurs. I really like cheetahs and looking at pictures of animals on the computer! I have a lot of fun with my Batman racetrack and my new construction vehicles puzzle. I like to help mom make up stories. My turtle sandbox is great - I like to play with my dinosaurs in there.

"We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...how about you, you, you?" I love dinosaurs and jungle animals. I like to watch Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder and Blue's Clues. I like all kinds of trucks and choo-choo trains. And I love my racetrack with the 3 loops - "Ready, Set, Go!" I still love books - especially the kind of the flaps you can open. I can even "read" some to you from memory.

My favorite place to go is still the zoo. And my new favorite TV show is Bob the Builder. I took my first ride on a carousel at the North Pole and loved it so much I went on it about six times!

I love going to the zoo! My favorite part is feeding the giraffes. The monkey house and ape house are so great, and I love the elephants, too. I also like to ride the train.

Grandpa gave me my very own slide! I love to slide down it and slide all sorts of things down it as well...like Hot Wheels cars and blocks and other toys.

I love to play with Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars, and I call them all 'trucks.' I love to say 'big truck' when I see one.

I can tell you what sounds a cow, dog, duck, frog and owl makes.

Blue's Clues is my favorite TV show to watch.

I love playing with a squirt bottle filled with water, and squirting myself in the face.

I am very independent, and I can definitely tell you with a 'Yeah' or a 'No' for what I want and don't want. I'm learning new words all the time now.

I really like books that have flaps that I can open.

I love to climb things and slide down things. I can push a car or truck across a room. I like to dance and make my mom and dad laugh!

I love books! I have lots of board books that my mom and dad read to me. I like to 'read' them to mom and dad or just to myself sometimes.

I love to take a bath. I always have fun in the water with my rubber duckies and other toys.

I love to watch TV. My favorite shows are Teletubbies and Sesame Street. Sometimes I watch Blue's Clues and Dora the Explorer.

I love music! I like to dance along to the Teletubbies theme, or to my Farm toy that plays 'Farmer in the Dell' or 'Old McDonald Had a Farm.' I also like to sing songs, play the piano, my drums and my maracas.
